Cultura vasluiană în timpul lui Ştefan cel Mare şi Sfânt

  • Subiect: The classical period of Moldavian art spans about 100 years, beginning with the last two decades of the fifteenth century to 1590. The reign of Stephen the Great brought a high and original synthesis in this area. The first part of Stephen's rule up to 1487, focuses mainly on military and civilian buildings. Besides cities and palaces, Stephen founded Voronet and Putna, Borzeştii and Pătrăuţii, St. Ioan din Piatra and St. Neculai from Iasi, Tazlăul and Războienii, the imposing and monumental Neamt and others more, where he hosted crafts, calligraphers and miniaturists, embroiderers and masons, carvers in stone and silver craftsmen.
