Monumentele eroilor din comuna Muntenii de Sus, judeţul Vaslui

  • Subiect: Heroes' monuments from Muntenii de Sus village, Vaslui Country Muntenii de Sus village, is situate ta the north-east of the town of Vaslui, where there are three hero's monuments, representing a tribute to the sacrifice the people who fought for freedom of the country's War of Independence (1877-1878), in the First World War (1816-1918) and the Second World War (1940-1945). 1. Hero 's monument from Muntenii de Sus village. The construction is located in the center of the village and was built in 1960 with support from Local Council from Muntenii de Sus. An aluminum plate is inscribed with the names of heroes of World War II. 2. Hero's monument at "School with classes I - IV" from Satu Nou Located in front of School with cl. I-IV from Satu-Nou, construction was built in 1996 to support "Clohars-Carnoet Friendship Association from France''. The monument commemorates all heroes from Muntenii de Sus which is engraved with two inscriptions. 3. Hero 's monument at Church "St. Peter and Paul", Satu Nou Near church "St. Peter and Paul", Satu Nou was built in July 2006, a monument dedicated to the heroes from Muntenii de Sus. The monument includes a cross of black marble which there are faux marble inscriptions engraved with the names of heroes from Muntenii de Sus common with were sacrificed in the First World War (1816-1918) and the Second World War (1940-1945). Heroes' monuments there are included in local interes! groups, teachers and pupils from Muntenii de Sus, developing various activities to commemorate historical events (January 24, May 9, Veterans Day, National Day etc). General situation of conservation of memorial monuments from Muntenii de Sus is satisfactory, requiring some intervention to restore.
