Metafore ale timpului în creaţia poetică a lui Eugeniu Speranţia

  • Subiect: Time metaphors in the poetic creation of Eugeniu Speranţia Starting from a literary and philosophical theme extremely rich in the universal culture - time and its representations - the author of this study is proposing a sketch portrait of Eugeniu Speranţia (1888-1972), a Romanian university teacher, poet, prose man, aesthetician, philosopher and memoralist, unfortunately less known by the following generations. Son of Theodor Speranţia, writer and folklorist, fonner member of the Romanian Academy, Eugeniu Speranţia made his university studies in his native town, Bucharest, and developed a rich didactic activity at the Law Academy from Oradea and, especially, at the University from Cluj. And also, distinguished himself, as an author of philosophic studies, law philosophy, sociology, pedagogic psychology, and also in different domains, which he published in periodic in the country and abroad. As a poet, he published remarkable poems in literary' press of the time, but also in small poetry volumes. Much more preoccupied by his scientific studies and by his didactic activity, he gathered his poetic creation in balance-volume, only in the year 1966, under the title Poems, a volume which turned to be a great and beautiful surprise for poetic art lovers.
