Activitatea Căminelor Culturale din România

  • Subiect: Cultural center is typical for Romanian villages, but it's also an active element in urban areas, especially in smaller towns. Within active communities, cultural centers are used to organize traditional holidays of Easter and Christmas celebrations, rustic proms or themed educational conferences. In addition to organizing activities, community center also deals with religious education, as we can see in the status of the cultural center "Lumina vieţii" from Husi, organizing social events, as shown in the work of the cultural center "Nicolae Simionescu" from Bârlad. The active role within the community, leads the cultural center to diversity, promoting among others: hygiene in the community, the lessons of practica/ training in various areas (particularly agriculture and construction), managing local libraries, community interest work (repair, planting trees, etc . .) etc. A special element in the development of cultural centers is the aid given by the Cultural Foundation "Principele Carol" Conferences have a special role, in addition to the educational role, being able to promote cultural centers by inviting local personalities, addressing various topics of public interest. For this purpose the cultural center "Stefan cel Mare" from Chilia, invites the doctor Gr. Gutorenco or Mr. Teodor Brătescu, a professor at the local gymnasium, addressed interesting topics designed to elicit an audience.
