  • Subiect: The events which took place in the summer of 1944 have radically changed the image of city of Iasi. The presence of Soviet troops created a new social and political conjuncture, one which was different comparing to the other parts of Moldavia, a conjuncture which was manifested especially among people who have not been evacuated and experienced a much higher complexity after the state officials returned and especially after the attempts of the new governmental structures from Bucharest to resume the connections with Moldova.
