  • Subiect: The interwar period was also marked by the fact that aviation became a matter of considerable public concern. The impetuous development of aviation triggered a legitimate concern for parachuting. Romanians were among those who essentially contributed to the technical achievements in the field, certifying the aeronautical vocation and tradition of the Romanian people. Romanian genius got manifest not only in the construction of parachutes, some achievements being very important for the further development of this means of rescuing pilots, but also in sports competitions, as the courage and skill of our compatriots made Romania the recipient of a series of skydiving world records.
