Muzeul paraşutiştilor militari implicat activ în cinstirea eroului anonim - luptătorul paraşutist

  • Subiect: This advocacy is intended to be a corollary of the essence of the Military Paratroopers’ Museum existence: celebrating and honoring our most valuable asset: the paratrooper warrior - anonymous hero. The museum is dedicated primarily to the great anonymous, paratrooper fighter who leaving blood on the battlefield, sweating in parachuting training, between heaven and earth, has always done just duty without having ever claimed to make history. On the 1st of July, 2001, within the events occasioned by the celebration of 60 years since the establishment in 1941 of the first military structures of parachuting in Romania, the Military Paratroopers’ Museum was restored. On 1st of July, 2006, a second room was established, mainly devoted to combat equipment display. This act of historical and moral restoration (to reopen the doors of the museum) would not have been possible without the efforts of a group of enthusiasts led by colonel Mircea Tanase, among which we can mention, without claiming to be an exhaustive list: lieutenant-colonel Dinu Constantin, sergeant major Stefan Tiberiu, sergeant major Rachiteanu Lucian, sergeant major Cheaga Laurentiu and many others, whom we warmly thank in this way.
