Subiect: The royal military manoeuvres provided an ideal opportunity to test the large units and units combat capability as well as to gain experience to be capitalised on in potential future military confrontations. Moreover, they substantially contributed to the consolidation of the ties between the sovereign, the army and the population in the areas where the manoeuvres were conducted. The royal manoeuvres in the autumn of 1894 represented a special event for Vaslui County.
