Starea de spirit în Moldova de est la începutul primului război mondial (august 1914)

  • Subiect: When the World War I had begun (July 1914), the Romanian Government asked the Directorate of Police and General Security to test the „mood” of the population. The purpose was to find out if people wanted an alliance with Russia against Austro-Hungary in order to release Transylvania. The Security agents went to towns, villages, discussed with officials, businessmen, soldiers and peasants and sent the results to Bucharest.
