Aspecte din învăţământul vasluian în anii 1944-1947

  • Subiect: The years of the second World War left a mark upon the teaching system, many teachers and professors dying on the field and others being forced to retire or to emigrate. Between 1944-1947 supplying boarding schools with food, footwear, soap and meat was difficult. Footwear was dispensed by tickets for all children above 14. Soviet occupation through the settlement of the communist regime has fundamentally changed the Romanian schooling system, slowly transitioning from a French-inspired liberal system to a Stalinist, communist system.
