Documente inedite privind înfiinţarea parohei „Sfânta Treime” din oraşul Vaslui

  • Subiect: Parish "Holy Trinity" from Vaslui was founded at the beginning of the last century, as a response to the spiritual requirements of the local Orthodox believers. The accreditation of the administrative units of the Church was made by concerted efforts of Deanery Vaslui and Episcopacy of Huşi through their representatives, Priest Constantin Ulea and Bishop Konon Arămecu Donici. The existence of a place of worship, cemetery chapel, ought to facilitate the work of creating a new parish, since there was no need for a new building investment. Vaslui Local Administration initially opposed this approach, arguing lack of funds to pay the working staff. Finally, the city council voted on the budget which included the amount of money needed to maintain the new parish. Royal Decree of recognition has been given by King Carol I and published in the Official Monitor no. 1575 of May 4, 1909.
