Insignele de academie militară româneşti folosite în perioada comunistă

  • Subiect: This paper deals with the insignias awarded to the graduates of the Romanian Military Academy during communist times (1948-1989) and the documents that accompanied them. During this period a total of six models were used (four during the Romanian Popular Republic, and two during the Romanian Socialist Republic), two of them coming with other two variants. The awarding documents accompanying them were issued in only two models. Also, we tackle the issue of an insignia that is often mistaken for a military academy insignia, although it has no connection with them, except for size and shape.
