Consolidare, restaurare şi amenajare. Palatul Culturii Iaşi (Etapa I-a)

  • Subiect: The analysis of the actual state of the building has identified several aspects which caused appearance of deteriorations. One of them is represented by the faulty disposal of rooms at the upper floors such as: - Storage rooms with loads on very large floors, wood storage rooms, ethnographic installations, ferrous materials; - Big concentrated forces: statuary groups, marble monuments, massive exhibits. Consolidating the load-bearing walls of the building, according to the decision and the intervention strategy, consists of remaking the continuity of the masonry by interweaving and/or injecting the cracks, simultaneously with the execution of a network made of ferro-concrete beams partially or totally included in the mass of brick masonry and lamellar cores from armored coatings connected to the frame.
