Subiect: The fishing and shepherding have outlined a marks in material and spiritual life of the inhabitants of the Crihana Veche- Cahul. The revealing of the ethnographic, historical, geographical, and social data are important for an interdisciplinary research of the ergograph components, and a contribution to the knowledge of the local cultural heritage. Therefore, the occupations such as shepherding and fisheries are a determinant of the local natural resources and conditions, historical realities and cultural expressions. The information obtained as a result of ethnographic field research and archival data gives to the article new aspects and helps us to fill up a goal in researches of the rural areas.
