Restaurarea unui vas bitronconic aparţinând culturii Gava

  • Subiect: When the object was brought into the lab, it was made up of 124 pieces of different dimensions. The compound elements of the object where washed immediately after they had been dug out and there were no limestone deposit on their surface. After the compound elements were identified, they were stuck with glue without plasticizer. The next operation consisted in manufacturing an antirust steel fitting; it was used to increase the resistance. The completion of the missing parts made with colored gypsum (black color for outside and brown color for inside), on a dental was support and was followed by a mechanical finishing. Finally the piece was covered with shellac.
