Repertoriul localităţilor din Sălaj în secolulu al XIII-lea

  • Subiect: The Index of the Localities of Sălaj County in the 13th Century For the 13th century there are more written documents than for the previous ones. The localities are thriving up to the time of the Mongol invasion. Later on, after the invasion, there is a considerable demographical increase. Some more of the ancient localities are mentioned by the documents. In the documents there is no information concerning the relationship between landowners and serfs. ln the 13th century there are still peasant communities led by juzi (iudices) or cnezi. In the Solnocul de Mijloc county 32 villages are attested by the written documents and they continue to exist in the following ·centuries as well. In the Crasna county 30 localities of the 13th century continue to exist in the following ones. Seven localities attested in the 13th century do not exist latter on.
