Caracterul bătăliei din 1330 între Basarab şi Carol Robert: Ţărani neînarmaţi sau cavaleri de tip apusean?

  • Subiect: The character of the battle of the year 1330 between Basarab I and Carol Robert. Unarmed peasants or western type knights? The reconstitution of the battle of 1330 from Posada, between Carol Robert de Anjou and the voivode Basarab I, is seen in a new light, different from everything we knew, because the historical sources are all from the opposite camp (the Magyar camp). Instead of the patriarchal army formed by peasants with sheepskins and flu fly for cap, rudimentary armed, we find an army of might's led by a great senior, the voivode of Wallachia, an army capable to defeat a feudal army such as the Hungarian of the first Anjevin. This, another one of the cliche, which covered the historical Romanian reality, disappears.
