Materiale arheologice din epoca bronzului de la Doh (com. Măierişte), jud. Sălaj

  • Subiect: BRONZ AGE ARCHAEOLOGICAL MATERIALS FROM DOH (THE MĂIERIŞTE COMMUNE, SĂLAJ COUNTY) The archaeological site from Doh - La izvoare had been summarily investigated in 1979, as previously it had been affected by deep plowing. Surface collections have also identified Late Bronze Age ceramics, several bronze artifacts, mostly fragmentary. In 2001 had been published Middle Bronze Age ceramics and a bronze pin by Wetzleinsdorf type. The majority of the Late Bronze Age ceramics founded to Doh belong to Cehăluţ group, but also had been founded pottery fragments black and smooth at exterior and reddish in the interior, decorated with vertical broom-brushed ornament (pl. II/4) and wide oblique channelling (pl.IV/4). That ceramics had been attributed to the Ill-rd Late Bronze Age stage from central and northern Transylvania.
