Biotipuri relictare din judeţul Satu.Mare. Rariştea cu ariniş băltit de la Mujdeni

  • Subiect: The populations of species mentioned above could be maintained by the protection of the whole biotype. lt is to be feared that because of the privatization process, ploughing of the sandy soil, smoothing of the dunes etc. its biotype area will be greatly reduced (Foieni), the remaining original grassy area. The grazing couldn't destroy this ancestral grassy area. The great drought between 1985-1995, the canalization works and mainly the spread of trees (afforestation) in moorish terrain of the forest Mujdeni will gradually oust the present-day undergrowth; so the richest Polygonum bistorta group will disappear as well, and together with it a great part of the Lycaena helle groop too, whose caterpillars grow on this plant.
