  • Subiect: Vine Growing in Sălaj County On the basis of a rich documentation the author presents stages in the development of vine cultivation, the ways of its naturalization in various areas in accordance with older customs, the means of measuring the sites (areas) of vine cultivation as well as the works in the vineyard, without claiming to give a thorough history of the vine cultivation and of the social relationship connected with this important occupation. The paper also points out the quantities of wine obtained in Sălaj county in various periods of time; it also points out that the vine cultivated here is of superior breed which makes the county to be considered as a producer of very good quality wine.
