Cristina Şuteu – cronici muzicale

Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the perfect present for the test of our civilization – said Mahatma Gandhi, and this was experienced once more few days ago. A wonderful chamber music evening in an youthfull atmosphere have placed in the "Festsaal" from "Univeristät für Musik und Darstellende Kunst" on 26th of November 2014. Under the supervision of professor Marialena Fernandes, from "Institut für Kammermusik und Spezialensembles", six chamber music ensembles composed by students, realized a good mixture of unity in diversity.

Most of the people who were present at the concert were young, some of them colleagues and friends of the performers and in this way can be understood the applause of satisfaction and encouragement after each performance. Each one's interpretive realization was accompanied by the results of a few weeks work, metamorphosed in emotions and in endeavour of an original contribution by performance.

Thus, the evening was opened with the Trio für Klavier und Violoncello in g-moll, op.63 by Carl Maria von Weber, in interpretation of Iva Kovac (Flute), Johannes Kofler (Violoncello) and Nikolina Ljiljak (Piano). The ensemble proved a good knowledge of the score embellished with good phrasing and expressivity but, perhaps motioned by the desire of giving the best, sometimes all three were too loud and it couldn't be perceived the contour of the melodic dialogue.

After them, Seongim Park (Clarinet) and Ioan Dragoș Dimitriu (Piano) presented Johannes Brahms, Sonate für Klavier und Klarinette in f-Moll, op. 120/1. To they both it could be seen a preoccupation in stressing the nuances and the dynamic or agogic contrasts and to a deeper level they were seeking each other for collaboration: each ones part in itself was pretty good but they need the same goal in transmitting the artistic message.

In the organizing parameters of the repertoire of the concert, after two romantic composers it came a contemporary one, Celso Machado, with Musiques populaires bresiliennes, in interpretation of Timotej Kosovinc (Guitar) and Aleksandra Pleterski (Flute). The change of the style and the good collaboration between the two guys, which transmitted in a wonderful manner the brazillian atmosphere of the folk songs, had a good impact on the public and a lady in front of me even started to swing on the Bossa Nova and Samba rhythms.

Back in time with more than 200 years, the evening continued with Beethoven, Sonate für Klavier and Violoncello in C-Dur, op. 120/1, presented by Ji In Choi (Violin) and Nikolina Ljiljak (Piano). Despite of the two moments where they couldn't finished together and of two too high intonational passages of the violonist, it can be appreciate how beautiful they realised the changing roles from accompanist to soloist and the good job in building the dynamic and agogic tension.

After a short pause, Suite für Klarinette, Violine und Klavier by Darius Milhaud was interpreted by Seongmin Park (Clarinet), In-Hong Chun (Violin) and Ji-Hea Park (Piano). The irreproachable rhythmic precision was dressed up in a well thought out phrasing, leading from violin to the clarinet on the background of the harmonic discourse of the piano.

The last ensemble who closed the concert was formed by Sabina Dascălu (Violin), Andjela Sibinovic (Viola), Benjamin Lai (Violoncello), Adela Liculescu (Piano). With interpretation of Klavierquartett in a-Moll, op. 67 by Joaquín Turina, they proved maturity in presenting each one the double stance of his instrument: speaking role (by soloist part) and listening role (by accompanied part) and of course this was realized with the contribution of interpretative and stylistic elements.

The wonderful involvement of the professor Marialena Fernandes in putting together six works by composers from four countries to be performed by sixteenth students from five nationalities, was materialized in a youth chamber music evening concert which, by it's variety of backgrounds, expressed in an indirect way what J.S. Eriugena said that beauty is unity in the diversity.

Abilitatea de a ajunge la unitate în diversitate va fi testul civilizației noastre – a spus Mahatma Gandhi, iar acest lucru a fost experimentat încă o dată în urmă cu câteva zile. O minunată seară de muzică de cameră într-o atmosferă tinerească a avut loc în „Festsaal" de la „Univeristät für Musik und Darstellende Kunst" pe 26 noiembrie 2014. Sub supravegherea profesorului Marialena Fernandes, de la „Institut für Kammermusik und Spezialensembles", șase ansambluri muzicale de cameră formate din studenți, au datt un exemplu bun de unitate în diversitate.

Majoritatea celor prezenți la concert erau tineri, unii colegii și prietenii interpreților și în acest fel pot fi înțelese aplauzele de satisfacție și încurajare după fiecare spectacol. Realizarea interpretativă a fiecăruia a fost însoțită de rezultatele a câtorva săptămâni de muncă, metamorfozate în emoții și în efortul unei contribuții originale prin performanță.

Astfel, seara a fost deschisă cu Trio pentru pian și violoncel în sol minor, op.63 de Carl Maria von Weber, în interpretarea lui Iva Kovac (flaut), Johannes Kofler (violoncel) și Nikolina Ljiljak (pian). Ansamblul a dovedit o bună cunoaștere a partiturii înfrumusețate cu o bună formulare și expresivitate, dar, poate din dorința de a oferi cei mai bun, uneori toate cele trei erau prea sonore și nu putea fi perceput conturul dialogului melodic.

Apoi, Seongim Park (Clarinet) și Ioan Dragoș Dimitriu (Pian) au interpretat Sonata pentru Pian și Clarinet în Fa minor, Op.120/1 de Johannes Brahms. Preocupați în accentuarea nuanțelor și a contrastelor dinamice sau agogice, și la un nivel mai profund, se căutau reciproc pentru colaborare: fiecare parte în sine era destul de bună, dar au nevoie de același scop în transmiterea mesajului artistic.

În parametrii de organizare ai repertoriului concertului, după doi compozitori romantici a venit unul contemporan, Celso Machado, cu Musiques populaires bresiliennes, în interpretarea lui Timotej Kosovinc (chitară) și Aleksandra Pleterski (flaut). Schimbarea stilului și buna colaborare dintre cei doi băieți, care au transmis atmosfera braziliană a cântecelor populare, au avut un impact bun asupra publicului și o doamnă din fața mea chiar a început să se balanseze pe Bossa Nova și ritmuri de Samba.

Înapoi în timp, cu mai bine de 200 de ani, seara a continuat cu Beethoven, Sonate pentru pian și violoncel în Do major, op.120/1, prezentat de Ji In Choi (vioară) și Nikolina Ljiljak (pian). În ciuda a două momente în nefinalizate împreună și a două pasaje intonaționale prea mari ale violonistului, se poate aprecia frumusețea rolurilor în schimbare de la acompaniator la solist și reușita construirii tensiunii dinamice și agogice.

După o scurtă pauză, Suita pentru clarinet, vioară și pian de Darius Milhaud a fost interpretată de Seongmin Park (clarinet), In-Hong Chun (vioară) și Ji-Hea Park (pian). Precizia ritmică ireproșabilă a fost îmbrăcată într-o formulare bine gândită, ducând de la vioară la clarinet pe fundalul discursului armonic al pianului.

Ultimul ansamblu care a închis concertul a fost format din Sabina Dascălu (vioară), Andjela Sibinovic (viola), Benjamin Lai (violoncel), Adela Liculescu (pian). Cu interpretarea Cvartetului de pian în La minor, Op. 67 de Joaquín Turina, au dovedit maturitate în prezentarea fiecărei poziții duble a instrumentului său: rol de vorbire (pe partea de solist) și rol de ascultare (de partea însoțită) și, desigur, acest lucru a fost realizat cu contribuția elementelor interpretative și stilistice.

Implicarea minunată a profesorului Marialena Fernandes în realizarea a șase opere ale compozitorilor din patru țări pentru a fi interpretate de șaisprezece studenți de cinci naționalități, s-a concretizat într-un concert de muzică de cameră pentru tineret, exprimând într-un mod indirect ceea ce filozoful irlandez JS Eriugena a spus: că frumusețea este unitate în diversitate.
