  • Subiect: The Second World War in the photographic collection of the Romanian National Naval Museum (1943-1945) The contribution of the Romanian Navy to the greatest military conflict ever known by mankind was another brave example of leadership for the national history of Romania. It was a period which will always be remembered by future generations. An important source with a high degree of validity in the transmission of information for the Second World War are the pictures and documents from the collection held by the Romanian National Naval Museum. A part of these are very valuable, some even unique because they are the last depiction for the people who took part in the war. They depict war heroes, personalities, politicians, officers and even sailors, some of them killed in action for their country.
