The General Estates in Wallachia- The Structural Aspects during 1594-1654

Subiect: This presentation talks about the first part of a work which aims at analysing the way the General Estates were formed in Wallachia between 1594-1654. First, some historiographical opinions concerning the structure of the institution have been exposed, then I have presented the various names of the Estates taken from the documents and analysed their significations to identify the social classes which were encountering to decide upon the major affairs of the Wallachian state.
