One approach to the New Educational Paradigms

  • Subiect: In the conditions in which the education system has gone in the past year through a process of change, which had in view the framework plan and curricula for the middle school, this article is going to scrutinize where the changes can be placed, what news they bring and which is the place of the History in the new educational policy. The fast educational paradigms for the middle school follow a holistic curricula, regarding all the aspects of the education systemdesigned to realize the connection with the process that begun in the primary cycle, to emphasize the process centered on the student, on the integrated approach and interdisciplinary learning, on the skills they need to develop, on the interests and needs of the specific development time. The place and role of history in this process has not changed as much as we wanted, and we cannot see a real improvement in the allocated schedules related to the other disciplines. History remains an important discipline and teaching History ensures the formation and development of a large part of the skills contained in the training profile of secondary school graduate, but also the formation of a general culture necessary for understanding the world in which he lives and building a better life.
