  • Subiect: Ethnographers, sociologists, folk art and culture historians have studied from the very beginning the traditional home interior, but the way they have understood the phenomenon of inhabiting and how the the material, social, cultural and spiritual life reflects itself into that which actually represents the traditional Romanian home interior have been different depending the epoch. ln this respect, there are three distinct stages, each one being synthesized by a specific verb: to accumulate for the 19th century and the first part of the 20th century, to collect for the second part of the 20th century, and to exhibit or to suggest for the 21st century. The new researcher of that phenomenon should be able to transform a space which could be inhabited into an inhabited space and this is what the modern visitor should see.
