Restaurarea tabloului ,,Portret de bărbat” al pictorului Carol Szathmari – studiu de caz

  • Subiect: The painting is an oil painting on canvas support. It once passed through a restoration process, doubling its canvas. Over time, new forms of degradation have emerged, and old ones have also become more prominent. On the painted surface of the painting were found, in addition to chromatic reintegration and numerous repaintings. The latter were removed. The restoration of the painting was made with materials compatible with the original ones and the original execution technique was taken into account.
