Evoluţia demografică a oraşului Câmpulung-Muscel (secolele XIV-XVIII)

Subiect: The demographic evolution of the Câmpulung-muscel City (the 14th-17th centuries) The author presents a less discussed aspect in the literature about the history of Câmpulung city, that of the demographic evolution in a hive centuries period, the period corresponding to the Romanian Middle Age. The main sources were gathered lt from the relating of the forcing travelers and in a little proportion, the internat documents, such as censures. The urban community of Câmpulung is analyzed from a social and an ethnic point of view. Câmpulung city was a continuous depopulation in the Middle Age: the population counted 4000 people at the end of the 16th century and 1700 people at the end of the 18th century. Comparing the catholic and the orthodox community from Câmpulung, we notice that the catholic one had on interesting evolution.
