Georg Soterius şi scrierile sale despre continuitatea românilor

  • Subiect: Georg Soterius, a Saxon historian and a record collector, who lived in Transylvania in the 18th century distingushed himself by his works related to the Romanians of Transylvania. He pointed out and recognized the Romanian language as the common element of the Romanians from Transylvania, Wallachia andMoldavia. Georg Soterius' outlook on the origin of the Romanian people and language is detailed shown in his work Historia Daciae Antiquae. The authoress based also her article on the remarks occured in studying the „encyclopedia" Transylvania celebris..., the copy preserved in the State Archives of Sibiu. Once again George Soterius recognized the origin and continuity of the Romanian people in Moldavia, Wallachia and „Transylvania where they constitute even wholly communities".
