Cercetări arheologice pe Valea Dâîmbovnicului I. Şantietul arheologic Ziduri, comuna Mozăceni, jud. Argeş

  • Subiect: Archaeological Researches on the Valley Of Dâmbovnic River The second researches campaign at eneolitic tell at Ziduri (2001), in the South-Eastern part of Argeş county, was, fynally, ending with the discovery of four hovel, all of them belonging from Gumelniţa 82 and A1 layer, with an typical rich inventory: flint, antler, rock and cooper tools and utensils, pottery and anthropomorphic figurine in clay, from an rather-known type. Probably tbese hovels was intentionally burned off, and a general fire disaster brought the end of living at the tell of Ziduri, sometime in the second half of the 4th millennium BC. At 45 km soutbeast from Piteşti is placed Negraşi commune. On the pasture of the Negraşi village, in the place call „Fântâna Ilinii", the Argeş County Museum have been executed an archaeological soundage. lt have been discovered a free Dacians settlement, Chilia-Militari type, of a single layer, dated in the 3rd century AD. Close by autochthonous pottery, is well-represented fragmentai Roman amphorae. The most important discovery is a hovel with eleven loom's weight.
