Săpăturile de salvare din comuna Apa

  • Subiect: In Apa village, during april - may 1998, there were carried out some saving excavations on the route of a gas pipe which was crossing the high bank of the Somes river. As a result of the archaeological excavations which had the aim of saving the objectives partially destroyed by the excavation of the groove for the pipe, there were obtained artefacts belonging to the following ages and cultures: l.Late neolitic - represented by a level of habitation. 2.Early Gava- being represented by the ceramics of 2 house -keeping pits. 3.Roman age- having the most numerous assemblages and archaeological material. 4.Early feudal age - represented by dwellings from the VII- VIII th centuries.
