Conservarea colecţiilor de pictură şi grafică la Secţia Artă a M.M.B.

Subiect: One of the main functions of a museum is to preserve its valuable patrimony, to help specialists exhibit the objects and, at the same time, to help the future generations enjoy these items. The paper deals with means of preventing aggressive factors to deteriorate paintings, by a series of measures called preventive preservation aimed at impeding the processes of degradation. The paper also deals with the ways the Municipality Museum of Bucharest – Pinacothèque has resolved the problem of storing the valuable paintings in its collection.
