  • Subiect: The image of the “kulak” reflected in the press from Salaj. Propaganda and reality This study is proposing to evidentiate the way it was reflected in the press of the fifties from Sălaj, the image of the rich farmer, catalogued by the word "kulak''. The communist propaganda starts an assiduous press campaign against the rich farmers considered class enemies. From this prosecutor articles to the rich farmer results the reality. All the plots and the sabotages frame-up to the "kulak" were in fact resisting form of the peasants against the forced collectivization process of the agriculture. The farmers resisting to the collectivization was like this : their refuse to deliver their share to the attempts to take a part of the products what should be collected, their refuse to work and their refuse to repair their tools.
