  • Subiect: Shepherd bats in ASTRA Museum’s Collections «ASTRA» Museum's Collection comprises a number of about 150 shepherd bats that can be divided into three main categories: the typical shepherd bat, the whistle - bat and the bat with «răboj» (marks made for keeping the account, scores). Made of all kinds of wood the bats are decorated with various motifs: anthropomorphous, amorphous, geometric or other shapes combined in different ways proving this way the artistic view of the shepherds.
