Gentrificarea în Londra: schimbări şi efecte în rândul oamenilor

  • Subiect: Similar to the old settlements that were famous, present day international cities are known for being important socio-economic activities poles. They became complex structures in which the speed of things is growing constantly and the way human interactions and connections are happening lead to a shortage of time in the working and stability process. London’s gentrification and its historical evolution among the population led significant changes in the present time. UK s Capital is a special case to highlight because it’s one of the cities in EU that has a high value in cultural diversity, dual citizenship a rising gap in income between settled population and newcomers, all of whom influence the gentrification process. ln this paper, positive and negative aspects that come with the urban and social gentrification will be highlighted. Through the relationship between population dynamics and gentrification process, the qualities that are gained by the physical urban space in the aftermath produce adverse effects in London s residential areas and their social components.
