Luptele purtate pe vârful Răchitaşul Mic, în memoriile generalului Mihail Victor Corbuleanu

  • Subiect: The Battles of Răchitaşu Peak, in Memoirs of General Mihail Victor Corbuleanu On April 25, 2005, a file was registered at IMC-15922 position, of the Argeş County Museum Collection. This file, containing the memoirs of Army General Mihail Victor Corbuleanu, was donated by Mrs. Mariza Irimescu, from Bucharest. The title of this file is „I looked back” and it has 92 pages. Also, a date is written on the last page of the file: „5th of December, 1967, Bucharest”. In the first 62 pages of the file, the author evokes the childhood, the years of school (his studies at the Military High School, in Iaşi) - and he ends the story with the episode of his father’s death. Then, in the next 30 pages, the Army General evokes his participation, as a second lieutenant, in the battles of Răchitaşu Peak. Those battles were a part of the battles carried out by the Romanian Army in Mărăşti.
