Gheorghe Ruset Roznovanu (1834-1904) – ctitorul modern al Roznovului

Subiect: Gheorghe Ruset Roznovanu (1834-1904) is considered the founder of modern Roznov. The owner of the Roznov estate, this Moldavian gentleman is remembered in our consciousness and his contemporaries’ as a great example of good administrator, skilful politician and good Christian. As prefect of Neamţ County, he was involved in many administrative jobs. He studied military science in Russia and participated in the War of Independence in 1877. As a good Christian, he built an imposing church in Roznov. It was part of the Conservative Party.
