Râmnicu-Vâlcea sub ocupaţie germană. O poveste sinceră

  • Subiect: After a short but glorious armed resistance on the Olt Valley, Râmnicu-Vâlcea was occupied and was for two years (1916-1918) under a tough German military occupation. The county and the county capital were severely exploited by the enemy. The article presents the sincere story of this stage in the town's life, even with its less appealing aspects, the wiles of some politicians, or the speculation that inevitably existed in the city, but also the heroism of the soldiers and the daily heroism of the inhabitants during this period. On 1 December 1918, Râmnic also felt the great joy of achieving Great Romania.
