We must make clear from the beginning that there comes a handicap from not having settlements and that the graves are the only elements that can be used to make sense – incompletely, of course – of the existence of Sarmatian communities in Wallachia, but we do not believe them to be insurmountable obstacles to a new approach to funerary finds attributed to the Sarmatians in the aforementioned period. ”
