Trecerea moşiei Chişcani în stăpânirea Mănăstirii "Sfântul Spiridon" din Iaşi

  • Subiect: The Chiţcani estate, from the former Tutova county, found it self in the course of the eighteenth century in the possession of several members of the Costachi boyar family. From the end of that century onwards, the estate was inherited by Safta Bogdan (bearing the title of 'spătăreasă ', a nobiliary rank from Moldavia) who, not having any direct heirs, left it to her daughter, Casandra Costachi. The death of her only son prompted Casandra to leave the Chiţcani estate in the property 'Sf Spiridon' Monastery from Iaşi, whose duty leave to provide for the services required by her burial and commemoration. By virtue of the stipulations of her 1844 will, Chitcani estate pass ed into the possession of the mentioned monastery after the donor 's death ten years later.
