Sumare note despre activitatea misiunii militare române pentru repatrierea prizonierilor din Germania de la sfârşitul anului până în primavara anului 1919

  • Subiect: The Great War would change radically and irreversibly the old continent and the world alike, was to influence historical development of the world. But beyond all geo-political consequences, it is quite obvious that this war, like none before, has made that human being the undeniable loser, regardless of what side he or she fought. Among these combatants, we find a category for which governments would continue to spend energy and numerous material and emotional resources, respectively prisoners of war. In the lines below, we consider the state of the Romanian prisoners in Germany, as members of the Romanian military mission for the repatriation of prisoners of war found it, the complexity of the situation and efforts made for their repatriation.
