The present volume is the resuit of the lnternational Colloquium held at Târgu Mureș in 9-11 October 2009, entitled "Tron Age Communities in the Carpathian Basin", and includes studies concerning the comrmmities of the second half of the 1'1 millennium BC from the Carpathian Basin. lts theme continues the debates covered by the previous volume, concerning the communities of the Bronze Age from the same region (see ed. Berecki et al., "Bronze Age Communities in the Carpathian Basin", Bibliotheca Mvsei Marisiensis, I), which also originates from another international meeting held in the same location.
