I.G. Duca - ministrul Agriculturii şi Domeniilor (12 decembrie 1918-12 septembrie 1919)

  • Subiect: The end of the war brought in the foreground the achievement of two reforms - the agrarian and the electoral reform. Nominated to take part in the liberal cabinet led by I. Brătianu, I.G. Duca, the Minister of Agriculture and Domains, gave his contribution to the editing of the law- ordinance of the agrarian reform, ordinance known in history as the Duca’ s ordinance. There with, through his unprecedented activity and mobility, he tried hard, during the hard times that followed the war to ensure with the help of the buying communities the putting in possession of the peasants with two ha of land, stipulated in the ordinance, till the first of April 1919.
