A Contribution to the History of the Dacian Discoveries from Orăştiei Mountains A big number of literary sources from the I 6th century indicate the accidental discovery of the Lysimachos and Coson coins type in various places of Haţeg-Orăştie region. The news regarding the date of the discoveries are ill-assorted. The contradictory accounts regarding the circumstances of the discoveries could be easier explained by the hypothesis of the simultaneous identification of more deposition of golden coins.
