  • Subiect: This study presents a vision concerning the conversion of the evolutions of cultural institutions, like libraries, archives or museums, with the one of informational technology, in the context of international initiatives of elucidating and building of a cultural economy as a part of a globalised informational society, based on knowledge. This paper identifies the main characters and the key decisions and presents some possible scenarios, conditioned by the uncontrolled and unpredictable evolutions of the context factors.
