Formatarea la nivel universitar a restauratorilor de obiecte muzeale în Ungaria

  • Subiect: The paper presents an academic training programme for museum object restorers in Hungary. The five years part time programme (about 450 hours study/year, 1-2 weeks/months) is carried out by the Hungarian National Museum with the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, and gives as final qualification a MA degree. Applicants must be employed in an art collection, must have either a basic qualification in conservation or three years conservation experience, and must pass an admission examination lasting for one week. The details of the training programme were imued by the trainers themselves and then discussed with over 60 experts.
