Cronica expoziţiei „Revoluţia românilor de la 1848-1849 în context european

Subiect: Thanks to the good relations established between the National Archives of Romania and the Federal Archives of Germany, the two institutions have organized, at the beginning of 1999, a great exhibition dedicated to the events which took place in the Romanian Principalities in 1848-1849. The exhibition entitled "The Romanian Revolution of 1848-1849 within a European context" was achieved by a rigorous selection of the numerous documents preserved in the National Archival Fonds of Romania as well as in the foreign archives. The 288 documents displayed on 39 panels illustrate various aspects concerning the outbreak, the development and the repression of the Romanian Revolution by the Great European Powers of the tune.
