  • Subiect: A remarkable exhibition at the National History Museum of Romania. Romania – overlapping civilizations. The ”Manuscripts and printings section” The exhibition Romania – Overlapping civilizations brings together exceptional archaeological and historical artefacts from the collections of the National History Museum of Romania and other related institutions in the Romanian space. The exhibition shows the evolution of the prehistoric, antique and medieval civilizations which succeeded themselves on the current territory of Romania. This study presents the ten masterpieces (five manuscripts, one Slavonic donation act, three old printings and a bookbinding) which can be admired in the medieval section of the exhibition and which illustrate the artistic and cultural qualities and the original traits of the medieval Romanian spirit. These cultural goods belong to the National History Museum of Romania and the National Museum of Romanian Literature.
