Războiul civil din Bosnia-Herţegovina. Managementul post-conflict şi drumul spre integrarea europeană

  • Subiect: Bosnia and Herzegovina civil war. Post-conflict management and the way toward European integration The involvement of international actors in the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina led to its partial resolution by signing the Dayton Peace Accord, which marked a process of total reform and reconstruction of the newly created state. Also, during this period, we are witnessing progress from the former belligerents in terms of institutional dialogue and alignment towards democratic decision-making policy. Of course, these post-conflict developments have been achieved with the support of Euro-Atlantic organizations, which have been involved using soft and military missions deployed in the region. Last but not least, in the last decade, Bosnia and Herzegovina has experienced a significant evolution, moving from the status of a country that whenever could be retriggered an armed conflict to a country that nowadays has some aspirations for European integration.
