  • Subiect: Centenary of great union and the linguistic situation in Basarabia in period the soviet occupation and after The paper describes the linguistic situation in Bessarabia during the Soviet occupation, based on concrete examples established in educational institutions and in society. There are given examples of words in the so-called „Moldavian language”, as well as the abundant use of Russianisms. The following text refers of the distribution of young Moldovan specialists abroad and their replacement with specialists brought from other Soviet republics. The author makes a foray into the history of the development of the spoken languages in the world and the causes of the multitude of spoken languages, both of natural and artificial languages. At the same time, a question to be raised is about the possibility of installing a single language on Terra due to information technologies, and whether it is possible to declare the language of a national minority as a language of communication in society.
