  • Subiect: Pages from history of Romanian Air Force. Constantin Al. Pârvulescu (1890-1945) Romanian Air Force was founded in 1910 thanks to the civil society Ministry of War. The first military aircraft design and Romanian building, designed by engineer and aviator Aurel Vlaicu conducted at Arsenal Army, flew on 17 June 1910. Aurel Vlaicu, who studied at the Higher School Royal Bavarian Polytechnic of Munich, became the first pilot of the Romanian army. During the years 1911-1912 were established three civilian flight schools in Chitila, Cotroceni and Baneasa-Bucharest where they patented military pilots, and by Royal Decree no. 1953 of 27 March/April 8, 1912, the War Office established military pilot school at Cotroceni, Bucharest, the fourth flight school in Romania. It was then also placed military pilot badge. The first patent was obtained military pilot Lieutenant Ştefan Protopopescu and the second lieutenant Gheorghe Negrescu. In September 1916 the young lieutenant Pârvulescu will enter into staff heroic Group 2, commanded by Major Andrei Popovici.
